Garo : red requiem - Keita Amemya ( 2010)

The story involves a group called the Makai Knights who have secretly defended humanity for centuries by fighting demonic manifestations called “Horrors”. Chief among them is Kouga Saejima (Ryosei Konishi), a knight who holds the title of Garo and has the ability to transform into an incredibly powerful golden armored warrior for a short period of time. However, as long as there is wickedness in the world, there will always be more Horrors to purge. When seven new “Apostle Horrors” descend into the terrestrial world, Kouga Saejima accepts a mission to hunt them down and exterminate them. A few days later, Kouga follows their trail to a port town and happens to cross paths with Makai Priests Akaza (Yosuke Saito), Shiguto (Masahiro Kuranuki), and Rekka. It seems obvious the four of them will need to team up to face such a powerful enemy, but Rekka inexplicably decides to take the Apostle Horrors on by herself…

Non non, Keita Amemiya, c'est un gros tueur, voir son Hakaider (Une bombe bis) et son Kamen Rider ZO pour s'en convaincre. Ca faisait un moment qu'on avait pas eu du tokusatsu de qualité (depuis la série Garo en fait!), donc ça rassure de le savoir aux commandes.

Ah d'accord, alors il le faut.

Sinon, quelqu'un sait si une suite est prévue en cas de succès ?

Je verrais bien un Garo : gorille.

A noter que la suite de ce Garo : red requiem, devrait mettre en scène un cross-over avec King Kong.
